Rise, Sister

Updated: Jan 1

When the world is heavy, and the nights grow long,

When the winds of life howl fierce and strong,

Remember, dear woman, your roots run deep,

In God’s mighty hands, you are His to keep.

For you are Esther, for such a time as this,

Chosen by grace, sealed with Heaven's kiss.

Like Ruth, you journey through fields unknown,

But His love guides you, you are never alone.

When the weight of sorrow bends your knee,

Look to truth, where you were set free.

His promises stand, unshaken and true.

With faith as your shield,

His strength flows through you.

Like Deborah, you lead with wisdom and might,

In the darkest of days, you are still light.

Though the valley seems long, and the desert dry,

\You walk by faith, and not by sight.

Through every trial, when you cannot stand,

He lifts you up with His righteous hand.

For you are His daughter, fearfully and wonderfully made,

In His shadow of wings, your fears will fade.

Let your soul be still and your heart be strong,

For He is your refuge, your shelter, your song.

Through every storm, through every night,

You are the dawn, clothed in His light.
